Sanyo to invest 200 bil. yen in batteries, photovoltaic power

Sanyo Electric Co. will invest more than 200 billion yen in its rechargeable battery and photovoltaic power generation businesses over the three years from fiscal 2008, according to a company business strategy master plan obtained by The Yomiuri Shimbun.
