Asahi: Stale cookie scandal

Many travelers to Hokkaido return bearing souvenir boxes of Shiroi Koibito (White Beloved Ones) cookies. Yet now we learn that these confections, made by Ishiya Co., are tainted by the latest scandal over falsified expiration dates.
