Yomiuri: North Korea’s N-program still threatens Japan

One year has passed since North Korea conducted a nuclear test despite strong international calls for the reclusive state to exercise restraint. After an extended stalemate, six-party negotiations over North Korea’s denuclearization have entered a stage in which the participants’ earlier agreement on procedures for scrapping that country’s nuclear weapons can be implemented.
