Asahi: Fukuda’s visit to U.S.

Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda on Thursday left for his first overseas visit since he took office in September. He will meet U.S. President George W. Bush in Washington and fly to Singapore next week to meet with Asian leaders taking part in the meeting of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations plus Japan, China and South Korea and other meetings.
