Ulfuls’ ‘Ryoho for you’ this summer’s Koshien theme song

The four-man Osaka-native rockband Ulfuls’ song “Ryoho for you” has been chosen as the theme song for this summer’s Koshien high school baseball tournament, it was learned Monday. Tortoise Matsumoto, the band’s lead singer commented: “Youth! I like it bitter sweet. I love high school baseball, so I’m thrilled to see my own song becoming the official theme song”.

The summer Koshien high school baseball tournament is the pinnacle of the Japanese high school baseball season, and is held yearly in August.
