‘King of Comedy’-Takahashi arrested for molesting high school girl
36-year-old Tokyo-native Kenichi Takahashi, well-known for his appearances together with his partner Hiroki Konno under the moniker “King of Comedy” on the Yoshimoto Kogyo show “M1 Grand Prix”, was arrested for molesting a high school girl on a subway train, it was learned on Tuesday.
Local police say Takahashi groped a high school girl while riding on a crowded subway train on the Chiyoda line, in Tokyo.
Takahashi’s talent agency soon announced on their homepage that they would hold back all work related to Takahashi, meanwhile letting his partner Hiroki Konno continuing working on his own.
