Former Morning Musume member, singer Natsumi Abe, 26, caused a traffic accident on Saturday while driving in Tokyo’s Shibuya Ward, the Sankei Sports reported Sunday.
According to local police, Abe collided with a scooter when she was leaving a car park and was about to make a right turn. The 33-year-old driver of the scooter received some bruises and other minor injuries. Abe was not hurt, but the front-right bumper of her car received some damages. Her driver’s license was taken from her on the spot.
The scooter driver was taken to a hospital, but was able to return home the same day. Abe had apologized to him on the spot, according to the Sankei Sports.
