Nintendo ships jacket for free

Nintendo-fans with slightly rampant playing styles could breathe sighs of relief today, as the company started taking orders for its latest peripheral - the Wii Remote Jacket. Once equipped with the jacket, the Wii Remote will be able to withstand both unexpected flights and quite heavy beatings without taking damage. The peripheral, which is free, can be ordered from the official Nintendo homepage or the Wii Remote Jacket Call Center. The serial number from the written guarantee will be required to complete the order.

Starting mid-October, the peripheral will also be shipped with new Nintendo Wii gaming consoles and Wii remotes, Game Watch reports.
