Nintendo holds 2007 autumn conference
Several exciting details for upcoming Wii software were announced today, as Nintendo held its 2007 autumn conference in the Makuhari Messe convention centre, Game Watch reports. It was there confirmed that the company’s superstar Mario will face Sega’s mascot Sonic for the first time ever in Mario & Sonic at Beijing Olympics on November 22, while the new “exergame” Wii Fit will arrive on shelves on December 1. The two titles will carry price tags of 5,800 yen and 8,800 yen respectively.
The company also confirmed that Sonic will make an appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and announced a release date of January 24 2008 for the long-awaited fighter.
Finally, the big announcement of the show was that Capcom’s Monster Hunter-series will get its true sequel on the Nintendo Wii. The new title, Monster Hunter 3, will be the first one ever on a Nintendo system.
