Sanma-san to star in TBS TV-series with Masami Nagasawa

Sanma Akashiya, popularly known as “Sanma-san” will star in a TBS TV-series together with 20-year-old actress Masami Nagasawa, Sanma-san revealed Sunday on the Fuji TV show “27 jikan no terebi,” although TBS are yet to officially announce the drama. Sanma-san laughed, “TBS will probably get mad at me for revealing this.“

During the show, Sanma-san accidentally revealed that he would star in a TV-series together with Masami Nagasawa when he and SMAP-member Masahiro Nakai presented a top-10 list of “fine women.” Placing Masami Nagasawa at #1, Sanma-san said “I really love that girl, we’re gonna be in a TBS drama together this fall!“

This will be the first drama series Sanma stars in since 2002.
