Tone deaf comedian and bikini model Tsugihara form pop duo

Comedian Shinji Yamashita, better known by the moniker Kenji Hirai, and bikini model Kana Tsugihara have formed a pop music duo and are set to release their debut single on Nov. 7, the Sankei Sports reported on Wednesday.

Kenji Hirai, his alias a parody of pop singer Ken Hirai, has previously released a CD with humorous covers of his namesake’s hit songs, but for Tsugihara, it will be her debut as a singer.

The single, to be called “Tokyo Furin,” meaning Tokyo Affair, will be a duet where Hirai plays a “dirty, tone deaf section chief,” while Tsugihara will take the role of a “wild office lady.“
