Hikaru Utada and U.S. R&B artist Ne-Yo release duet single

Japanese pop artist Hikaru Utada and U.S. best-selling R&B artist Ne-Yo have recorded a song together as a part in a series of Ne-Yo collaborations with female singers worldwide, it was announced on Tuesday, several Japanese sports dailies report.

The song, called “Do You feat. Utada,” will be released in Japan as a digitally exclusive single Nov. 21. Utada was chosen among other Japanese singers, recommended to Ne-Yo by U.S. 1# bestselling hip hopper Jay Z, according to the Daily Sports.

The duet is Utada’s first with a male singer.
