Koike, Rice agree to strengthen bilateral ties
Japanese Defense Minister Yuriko Koike agreed Thursday with U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to work to strengthen the bilateral alliance in their first telephone conversation since the Japanese minister took office last week.
