Voter turnout for Upper House election lower than 2004

Voter turnout in Sunday’s Upper House election stood at 33.44% as of 4 p.m. Sunday, which is 0.32% lower than for the previous 2004 election, at the same time.

The voting will continue until 8 p.m., after which same-day counting of ballots will occur. The final results will be presented on Monday, early dawn.
