Opposition leaders demand new farm minister resign over money scandal
Japan’s new agricultural minister faced harsh demands from opposition leaders Sunday that he resign over the misuse of farm subsidies, one of several money scandals that have erupted just days after Prime Minister Shinzo Abe reshuffled his Cabinet in an attempt to purge its corrupt image.
