Fukuda dismisses Abe’s ‘beautiful country’ panel as waste of money

Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda said Wednesday that a now- defunct office established to promote his predecessor Shinzo Abe’s initiative to build “a beautiful nation” had wasted money.
