DPJ’s Ozawa rejects ’shocking’ Fukuda offer on grand coalition made during talks

Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda, the president of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party, and Democratic Party of Japan President Ichiro Ozawa held talks Friday during which Fukuda offered Ozawa the chance for the DPJ to participate in a grand coalition with the ruling parties.
