Ozawa would have been deputy PM in coalition gov’t

Democratic Party of Japan President Ichiro Ozawa and Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda agreed at their Friday meeting that Ozawa would have served as a minister without portfolio and equivalent to deputy prime minister if the DPJ had joined a grand coalition with the ruling parties, it has been learned.
