Defense Minister troubled over legal issues if UFO arrives

Defense Minister Shigeru Ishiba said Thursday that he was troubled over potential legal issues if a UFO arrives in Japan, requiring action by the Self-Defense Forces, Japanese media reports.

The subject was triggered by a question from oppositional lawmaker Ryuji Yamane, who argued the government should attempt to confirm what UFOs are because of “frequent observations” of them in Japan.

“There are no grounds for us to deny that there are unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and some life-form that controls them,” Ishiba said at a news conference. “Various possibilities should be considered.“

Ishiba noted that in the classical Godzilla movies, Japan deployed its military against the monster. “Few discussions have been made on what the legal grounds were for that,” the minister said, drawing laughter from reporters, according to an AFP report.

Ishiba said it would be difficult to determine on what legal grounds the Self-Defense Forces could be mobilized if a UFO violating Japanese airspace is not hostile.

“Would that be mobilization for an act of defense? That would not be the case if they say, ‘Everyone on the Earth, let us be friends,”‘ Ishiba said. “Or what can we do when we can’t figure out what they’re saying?” Ishiba was quoted as saying by Kyodo News.

The minister added that he was strictly speaking his own views and that the ministry was not actually working out ways to deal with UFOs.

The government officially took the position Tuesday that the existence of UFOs are unconfirmed. Chief Cabinet Secretary Nobutaka Machimura drew headlines around the world when he after the conference stated he was a firm believer in UFOs, citing Peru’s Nazca Lines as evidence.

  4. Any life form that lands is a guest to our world and should be treated as such. They surly have the same rights as any illegal alien crossing the border in any civilized country. It is well known that they have landed in a country and were killed and their crafts taken and reverse engineered. The few involved in this have committed crimes against nature and treason to the human race. The object isn’t to steal and murder to advance technology for defense purposes but to earn respect and pray we gain enough to achieve their medical technology. Much more will follow. My father just died from heart problems and i have the same heart problems. Unfortunately a doctor with those types of credentials wasn’t available with the technology to save him in his life time. I pray i see it in mine. The reports of telepathic ability’s are real and they may very well know something about our space we don’t. They may be almost angelic and may very well sweep through one day and grab those who think properly and as clean as they do. They will not allow their civilization to hear the corrupt thoughts of common man. Be very careful of how you think in all of your life and approach this in front of all of mankind. This is of the greatest importance in all the history of mankind. Pass the laws necessary for their protection and lead the world with wisdom. This situation is so out of control why would anyone trust any government with any real knowledge concerning this issue. What if a Revelation of Relativity already exists? What nation could be trusted? Show me a leader. The best hope we have here is that Hillary Clinton is sharp enough to wait till the end and announce Al Gore as her running mate and gain the time to dismantle these black projects and conspiracy’s that exist. Everything can be traced through financial mathematics. Some worry and want amnesty for those involved afraid of technology and data being destroyed but i say much more can be gained through respect. This is the # 1 issue all the world must unit on. We have no time to waist and All bodies and crafts already quarantined should be placed on public display and any recovery attempts from any life forms should protected by all governments of the world. They have family’s too and deserve to go home. This is how respect is achieved. I now have gained much more respect for your country just from this right to speak freely and know one person is thinking at a proper level of Intelligence. Thank-you Defense Minister Shigeru Ishiba and all of Japan

  6. What is funny is, that most evolutionists tell us that mankind has evolved from ‘dust’. But we do have legs and arms and two eyes etc. How can it be explained that if an alien from outerspace comes to earth and has the same specifications as a human, but in different proportions…. Has that alien race evolved equally but on the other side of the universe? Tell me. That would be a chance in more than a billion I guess. Besides that, we will never be able to communicate with such aliens, unless there have been a link with the earth somewhere in the past. Communication is a principle not to be taken lightly.

  8. So what is to be done? Do their lawyers meet with our lawyers and create a treaty? Or, didn’t we already botch that one up a few years ago at Roswell? Gee - I think I will be staying awake a few nights thinking about this one, not!

  10. The Governments of this World have always known and have held talks with the aliens. They have been on this planet for thousands of year and their secrecy has remained hidden. The media is bringing the thought of their existence into reality only slowly, the minority of earths populations do show interest but the majority are eluded into the hollywood fictions. The US & Russia are the major negotiators with the aliens. The time will come when the earthly aliens will pop up in order to create a tremendous impact of fear in the peoples of this world to achieve more compliance with the systems of governments and the New World Order.

  18. to think that aliens would come to earth and not be totally prepared to communicate with us is incredibely ignorant.they are so advanced, im sure they will be able to work out some form of communication. they did it before with ancient civilizations certainly we are prepared to accept diferent options for communicating.

  20. I have the greatest respect for Defense Minister Shigeru Ishiba for stepping forward and open the eyes of many others.
There should be more people like him, then a lot would change in this sad world .
I’m still wondering witch country will be the one that let us start the real evolution .
Japan would be a great country to open the books.
