Hokkaido’s beloved sweets return after suspension over mislabeling

Hokkaido’s best-known cookies “Shiroi Koibito” returned to shop shelves Thursday to mixed reviews, three months after sales of the products were suspended because of a scandal over falsified eat-by dates.
