Activists ’stole’ whale meat

Police arrested two members of Greenpeace Japan on Friday on suspicion of stealing a box of whale meat in connection with the conservationist group’s claim that crew members of a Japanese whaling ship had themselves stolen the meat.

  2. When governments punish the accusers while pardoning the accused, it usually implies that there is something wrong with the government itself. Otherwise, why would they go to such great lengths to protect some low rank whalers who stole a little meat? Is it because they don’t want to open the door to further investigations that may expose deeper corruptions? What are they really hiding? How high up does it go? Ironically, the Japanese government has brought attention upon themselves by the way they reacted.
