MPD payment to killer cop’s family arouses public ire

More than 600 complaints were made against the Metropolitan Police Department headquarters and Tachikawa Police Station between Aug. 21 — the day a senior police officer from the station is believed to have committed suicide after shooting a woman to death — and Wednesday, it has been learned.
