Fish cakes containing hooks placed in park in apparent prank
Four fish cakes containing fishing lines and hooks were placed in a park in Kuwana, Mie Prefecture on Monday, and a dog that ate one of them had to undergo surgery to remove a hook it swallowed.

While low-cost carriers have since long been successfully operating throughout the U.S., Europe, and southern Asia, Japan has seen very little of the low-price action.
I’m amazed people have the time to come up with cruel, stupid pranks like that. Then again it’s probably an over-worked 50-something oyaji who’s behind it.
