Huser head found guilty over fake data

The Tokyo District Court on Tuesday sentenced Susumu Ojima, former president of now-bankrupt Huser Ltd., to three years in prison, suspended for five years, for defrauding clients by selling condominiums whose earthquake-resistance data were falsified.

  2. so husar gets a suspended sentence, very fortunate for him. if the crime had not been discovered and an earthquake had occurred what would his sentence have been then? will the leniency of his sentence deter others from making a few million yen by cutting safety standards?
