More than 340 million yen in pension premiums, benefits embezzled by civil servants

Nearly 343 million yen ($3 million) in pension premiums and benefits had been embezzled by Social Insurance Agency and municipal workers since 1962, but many of the cases were swept under the rug, the agency said Monday.
