College baseball: Waseda wins Big 6 league

After yesterday’s defeat against Keio University, Waseda won today’s game 9-5, securing the Tokyo Big 6 Baseball League championship victory. This marks Waseda’s 39th championship victory all time, and second consecutive victory. Even if Waseda would lose their remaining match, and the runners up Meiji University or Keio University would win theirs, Waseda is assured the victory because of their higher winning percentage.
