Right-hander Sikorski rejoins Lotte

The Lotte Marines announced Friday they have agreed on a one-year 70 million yen deal with Yakult Swallows right-hander Brian Sikorski, according to a Kyodo News report.

Sikorski, who holds the record of most appearances in Japanese baseball, began his career in Japan at Lotte in 2001, where he stayed for three years. The 33-year-old also played for the Yomiuri Giants before joining the Swallows in 2007.
