JAL, ANA to raise international air fares by 10-13 percent
Japan Air Lines (JAL) and All Nippon Airways (ANA) confirmed Tuesday they will raise the fares for international flights from April to offset soaring fuel costs, the Mainichi Shimbun reports.
Travellers heading from Japan to North America will see a 13 percent increase, while those leaving for South America, Asia and Oceania will see a 10 percent increase. The extent of the price raise for flights to Europe is as of yet undecided.
